Position Summary
Director, Global Medical Cardiovascular, Mavacamten — shape and execute Worldwide and US medical strategy for mavacamten in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), providing scientific and clinical leadership across medical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated Worldwide and US medical strategy across indications/lifecycle stages.
- Translate global strategy into region-specific medical plans.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Development, Regulatory, Safety, Access, Marketing, and Commercial.
- Serve as global and US medical subject matter expert in HCM.
- Lead content generation, disease education, and data interpretation.
- Provide medical guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to evidence planning (RWE, Phase 4, registries, investigator-sponsored research).
- Manage publications and congress materials; support medical review processes.
- Lead congress strategy/execution.
- Manage Thought Leader Engagement strategy/Advisory Boards; coordinate scientific engagement governance.
- Support medical training and consistent scientific messaging.
- Ensure compliance with medical governance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, PA/NP).
- 5–10+ years Medical Affairs (increasing responsibility).
- Global and US medical strategy experience strongly preferred.
- CV expertise required; HCM/rare disease preferred.
- Cross-functional partnering in matrixed organizations.
- Experience planning congresses/advisory boards and managing external agencies.
Skills & Competencies
- Scientific/clinical acumen; translate data into strategy.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, leadership without authority.
- Navigate ambiguity; negotiation and conflict resolution; high integrity.
Compensation & Benefits (if applicable)
- Princeton, NJ, US: $207,490–$251,433.
