Director, Global Marketing – Cenerimod

Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve global brand vision, positioning, and value proposition based on scientific evidence and market insights.
- Develop and manage the Global Brand Plan (GBP), including long-range forecasts, strategic imperatives, and tactical priorities.
- Lead annual brand planning to ensure alignment across global and regional teams.
- Provide brand governance aligned with corporate portfolio and therapeutic area strategies.
- Lead pre-launch activities: market shaping, disease awareness, and competitive intelligence.
- Partner with Medical Affairs to build the scientific narrative and prepare for data dissemination at key congresses.
- Oversee unbranded disease campaigns, early stakeholder engagement, and external communication frameworks.
- Establish launch readiness standards (KPIs and milestone dashboards).
- Translate Phase 3 clinical data into compliant brand narratives and commercial tools.
- Collaborate with Clinical/Medical on publication planning and evidence-to-value translation.
- Develop global core claims and messaging architecture aligned with regulatory/legal guidance.
- Partner with Global Market Access and HEOR on payer value stories, pricing scenarios, and early economic models.
- Support creation of the Global Value Dossier (GVD) and payer communication materials; integrate insights into brand strategy and affiliate tools.
- Serve as commercial lead on the Global Launch Readiness Team (GLRT); ensure cross-function/region alignment.
- Localize global strategy with regional commercial leads; chair governance meetings as delegated.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and consultants.
- Develop and manage the Cenerimod global marketing budget; forecast, track, and report; prioritize resource allocation.
- Oversee third-party contracts and ensure vendor compliance with procurement policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD, or equivalent) (preferred).
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience, including global/regional leadership.
- Proven success in pre-launch or launch preparation for specialty or immunology products.
- Cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization.
- Solid understanding of drug development, clinical data interpretation, evidence-based communication.
- Strong strategic/analytical skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership/influencing/interpersonal skills across functions/geographies.
- Strong business acumen, financial management, and vendor oversight.
- Integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical conduct.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Travel internationally (~20–30%).

Preferred:
- Prior experience in autoimmune or rare diseases.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $112,000.00–$236,000.00 USD (exact compensation may vary).
