Role: Lead global health economics (HE) strategy within Takeda Oncology to optimize market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration for cancer therapies. Responsibilities: develop and execute global HE plans, influence payer and HTA decision-making, pioneer innovative evidence generation approaches (including digital, data science, AI), build enterprise frameworks (e.g., Evidence Generation Plans), and shape Takeda’s industry reputation through thought leadership. Collaborate with R&D, Market Access, Pricing, and external stakeholders to align evidence and access strategies, ensuring rapid patient access and differentiated pricing. Requirements: Doctorate with 7+ years or Master’s with 9+ years or Bachelor’s with 12+ years in healthcare, extensive experience with global payer and HTA landscapes (e.g., NICE, CADTH, EU JCA, US Medicare, ICER), expertise in health economics, HTA tools, clinical epidemiology, and outcomes research. Demonstrated leadership in highly matrixed organizations, strategic thinking, influencing skills, and excellent communication. Preferred: experience in hematology/oncology, direct payer experience, familiarity with global HTA submission processes, and peer-reviewed publications.
