Summary
Director, Global CRM Business Lead (reports to Senior Director, Digital Strategy and Capabilities). Partners with Business Units, Commercial IT, Insights & Analytics, and Performance & Planning to lead global CRM initiatives, innovation, processes, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise CRM strategy and roadmap aligned to CX goals, digital data strategy, and campaign needs.
- Develop/prioritize CRM initiatives across Business Units and regions; oversee the full CRM lifecycle (requirements, deployment, optimization, enhancements).
- Partner with therapeutic area leads to ensure CRM supports unique business needs and advise on leveraging CRM capabilities for customer engagement.
- Own CRM tools (including Veeva, Salesforce, and other life sciences CRM systems): drive adoption, governance, and omnichannel integration.
- Optimize HCP/patient engagement via segmentation, dynamic targeting, next-best-action logic, alerts/suggestions, campaign tagging/attribution, and closed-loop measurement; enable cross-functional engagement and task/targets management.
- Partner with IT for CRM standards alignment, technology/integration changes, upgrades, and new functionality.
- Improve field usability via role-based views, dashboards, workflows; collaborate with sales enablement.
- Monitor CRM metrics, analyze data for insights, and develop standardized reporting.
- Manage stakeholders across sales, marketing, and medical; communicate CRM value to leadership; drive CRM user support frameworks/office hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or related); MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in CRM strategy/management in biotech/pharma or similarly regulated environment.
- Enterprise experience with Veeva/Salesforce configuration and optimization; CRM configuration/management and integration with marketing automation (SFMC, Marketo).
Required Skills
- CRM systems and integration with marketing automation.
- Pharma/life sciences CRM use cases, commercial workflows, customer types, and lifecycle management.
- Strong analytics to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication across matrixed organizations (Sales/Marketing/IT).
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept through execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Advocate for efficiency tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Benefits/Compensation
- Salary range: $178,900β$246,000. May include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility varies), paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
