OBJECTIVE
- Director, US Field Medical Readiness & Enablement: lead US Field Medical capabilities to ensure high-quality scientific engagement and medical impact; drive department-wide programs aligned to US Medical strategies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Onboarding/Training/Development: develop onboarding/training/competency standards; design and deliver core skills & competencies programs for engagement; develop training for people leaders (coaching, executive presence, matrix influence).
- Innovation: monitor field engagement innovation trends; benchmark performance and identify improvements; oversee launch excellence framework/process; oversee research support framework/process for compliant Takeda-sponsored research contributions.
- Operations/Digital Tools/Internal Communications: oversee KOL/HCP engagement monitoring framework; manage annual external engagement planning/approval (tactical/territory plans); support SOPs/guidance; optimize adoption of analytics and digital tools (including AI) for data-driven planning and reporting; evolve insights capture/translation/internal communication; communicate CRM enhancement needs and collaborate on implementation; maintain communications plan and reporting dashboards for metrics and impact/outcomes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED/PREFERRED)
- Minimum: Masterβs degree in health sciences (MSN/NP/PA).
- Preferred: Doctoral degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent).
- Required: 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry; strong strategic/analytical, innovation, project leadership, and change implementation; teamwork and matrix influencing; ability to manage/mentor; excellent communication/organization; executive presence; technology/analytics and data communication; experience designing training programs; vendor management; understanding of compliance/ethical/legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Strongly preferred: Medical Affairs and Field Medical experience.
TRAVEL
- Up to 40% (drive/fly; some overnight and weekend).
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS (if applicable)
- U.S. base salary range: $192,400β$302,390; may be eligible for incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, well-being benefits, sick time up to 80 hours/year, vacation up to 120 hours for new hires).
