OBJECTIVE
The Director, US Field Medical Readiness & Enablement will lead US Field Medical leadership initiatives to ensure high standards of scientific engagement and medical impact with healthcare professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement departmental onboarding, training, and competency assessment standards/processes.
- Design and deliver core skills/competencies training for US Field Medical engagement.
- Develop people-leader training (coaching, executive presence, influence, matrix leadership) in collaboration with HR.
- Track field medical engagement innovation; benchmark performance and drive improvement.
- Oversee launch excellence framework/processes for product launch readiness and execution.
- Develop research support framework/processes to ensure compliant Takeda-sponsored research contributions.
- Oversee KOL/HCP engagement monitoring framework with Legal/Ethics & Compliance.
- Lead annual external engagement planning/approval (team tactical plans, territory plans).
- Support SOPs/guidance development.
- Optimize adoption of data analytics and digital tools/systems (including AI) for planning, execution, and reporting.
- Advance field medical insights capture/translation/internal communication.
- Communicate CRM enhancement needs and collaborate on implementation.
- Maintain communications plan and reporting templates/dashboards for activity metrics and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED/PREFERRED)
- Minimum: Master’s degree in health sciences (e.g., MSN, NP, PA). Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
- At least 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry; Medical Affairs and Field Medical experience strongly preferred.
- Strategic/analytical thinking; innovation; project leadership; change implementation.
- Teamwork and ability to influence in a matrix environment.
- Ability to manage, lead, and mentor individuals/teams.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organization; executive presence.
- Technology/analytics proficiency; use of digital tools including AI.
- Experience designing/implementing skills & competencies training.
- Experience managing vendors.
- Understanding of compliance, ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines.

TRAVEL
- Up to 40% travel, including some overnight and weekends.
