Objective:
- Serve as a key member of the US Field Medical leadership team, driving US Field Medical success by ensuring high standards of scientific engagement and medical impact with healthcare professionals; elevate capabilities through department-wide programs and initiatives; foster high performance, continuous improvement, and innovation with operational excellence aligned to US Medical strategies and priorities.
Accountabilities:
- Onboarding/Training/Development: Develop and implement departmental onboarding, training, and competency assessment standards; design and deliver core skills/competencies training; design and deliver training to support US Field Medical people leaders (coaching, executive presence, influence, matrix leadership).
- Innovation: Track external innovation trends via industry associations; conduct external benchmarking; develop and oversee launch excellence frameworks/processes; develop and oversee research support frameworks/processes for compliant Takeda-sponsored research.
- Operations/Digital Tools & Internal Communications: Oversee KOL/HCP engagement monitoring framework; lead annual external engagement planning/approval process (tactical/territory plans); support SOPs/guidance; optimize adoption of analytics and digital tools (including AI); advance field medical insights capture/translation/internal communication; communicate CRM enhancement needs and collaborate on implementation; maintain communications plan and reporting templates/dashboards for activity metrics and outcomes.
Education/Experience/Skills (Required/Preferred):
- Minimum: Masterβs degree in health sciences (e.g., MSN, NP, PA). Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience; Medical Affairs and Field Medical experience strongly preferred.
- Strategic/analytical thinking; innovation; project leadership; change implementation.
- Teamwork and influencing in matrix environments; lead/mentor capability.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organization; executive presence.
- Proficiency with technology, analytics; skilled use of digital tools including AI.
- Experience designing skills/competencies training; managing vendors.
- Understanding of compliance, ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines impacting pharmaceutical/Medical Affairs/Field Medical.
Benefits:
- U.S. base salary range: $192,400β$302,390.

Travel:
- Up to 40% travel; ability to drive/fly; some overnight and weekend.
