Director, US Field Medical Readiness & Enablement

Objective
- Lead US Field Medical readiness and enablement, ensuring high standards of scientific engagement and medical impact; develop and execute department-wide programs aligned to US Medical strategies.

Accountabilities
- Onboarding/training/development: Set onboarding, training, and competency standards; design and deliver core skills/competencies training; develop people-leader training in collaboration with HR (coaching, executive presence, influence, matrix leadership).
- Innovation: Track industry innovation; benchmark departmental performance; oversee launch excellence and research support frameworks/processes for compliant support of Takeda-sponsored research.
- Operations/digital tools/internal communications: Oversee KOL/HCP engagement monitoring framework; manage annual external engagement planning/approvals; develop SOPs/guidance; optimize adoption of analytics and digital tools/AI; advance insights capture/translation and internal communication; coordinate CRM enhancement needs; maintain engagement metrics dashboards/templates.

Education & Experience (Required/Preferred)
- Required: Master’s degree in health sciences (e.g., MSN/NP/PA). 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry; strategic/analytical thinking, project leadership, change implementation; teamwork/matrix influence; lead/mentor capability; excellent communication/organization; tech/analytics proficiency; digital tools including AI; training-program design/implementation; vendor management; knowledge of compliance/ethics/legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Preferred: Doctoral degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent); Medical Affairs and Field Medical experience.

Skills
- Executive presence; written/verbal communication; data-driven planning and reporting.

Travel
- Up to 40%.
