Director, Field Medical Affairs (Hematology)

Responsibilities:
- Provide regional hiring, deployment, and direct line leadership for hematology-focused Associate Directors – Field Medical (MSLs (field visits, training, mentoring)); oversee activities per regulatory and healthcare guidelines.
- Ensure team field activity level and field metrics; align internal teams on goals and value proposition.
- Develop field strategies for healthcare professionals.
- Develop educational materials/evidence communication tools and champion regulatory/legal/healthcare compliance approvals.
- Create and implement compliant field collaboration strategies with other customer-facing teams (e.g., sales).
- Identify gaps in research needs and collaborate with potential/existing investigators.
- Support clinical data management via abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscript development.
- Engage healthcare professionals and attend medical conferences to collect/report medical insights.
- Develop strategic plans and coordinate hematology scientific meetings and congresses.
- Collaborate with clinical/study staff to develop and implement Hematology Development Plans.
- Maintain lists of Hematology experts/investigator targets and action plans.
- Work with Medical Information to develop/plan/review materials for scientific inquiry responses.
- Maintain company policies/principles/financial controls with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Advanced medical and/or scientific degree (MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, DVM) and 10+ years’ Field Medical Affairs experience.
- Oncology and/or Hematology experience required (Lymphoma or Multiple Myeloma preferred).
- 2+ years leading a team.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Veeva.
- Residency in Western US required.
