Director, Field Market Access

Role: Director, US Field Market Access, leading access strategies for Beam’s gene therapy portfolio, including the commercial product risto-cel in Sickle Cell Disease. Responsibilities: execute payer and Treatment Center engagement, negotiate pricing and coverage with commercial and government payers, educate providers on reimbursement processes and billing, monitor payer trends in rare diseases, and develop relationships with professional and advocacy groups. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as Medical Affairs and Key Account Management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (advanced preferred); 10+ years in pharma/biotech, with 5+ years in field-based market access, including hospital and payer experience. Proven success in payer relationships, buy & bill processes, and experience with cell or gene therapies is preferred. Skills: excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and proficiency with CRM, PowerPoint, Excel. HighValue: focus on rare disease gene therapy, payers, treatment centers, payer negotiations, and reimbursement strategies. WorkSetup: field-based, willing to travel approx. 50%.
