Responsibilities:
- Conduct health economics and outcomes research as part of a cross-functional matrix team (internal-facing) and lead the medical interface with key access customers (field-facing).
- Collaborate on development and implementation of the US HEOR strategy, plans, and research.
- Partner with home office medical teams to develop, interpret, and disseminate data/information assessing the medical value of BMS assets; execute all phases of the research process.
- Direct research strategy so BMS answers key healthcare marketplace questions driven by direct payer insights, in accordance with company policies and in collaboration with home office medical matrix team.
- Lead Health Economics and Outcomes Research for any therapeutic area.
- Concentrate field-facing activities on specific accounts (regional managed care accounts and key integrated delivery networks) to support patient access, medical policy, coverage, and reimbursement for BMS portfolio assets.
- Develop sustainable customer relationships and discuss scientific, health economic, epidemiology, and quality of life information.
- Work closely with commercial Account Executives, MSLs, and home office medical matrix teams.
- Lead projects/initiatives impacting the field HEOR team, home office HEOR team, or cross-functional matrix teams.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) with emphasis in health services research, health economics research, public health, health services, or related field.
- Masterโ€™s level degree considered if specific to health economics or outcomes research, with appropriate clinical background and years of experience.
- Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ experience in pharmaceutical, managed care, or consulting with primary focus on Market Access (public/private payers) and experience conducting health economics and outcomes research across all research stages.
- Demonstrated expertise in health economics and outcomes research (include publication list).
- Ability to understand, interpret, and make recommendations on the evolving US healthcare marketplace and comparative effectiveness research.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships; strong problem-solving and communications skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; must meet Qualified Driver requirements (e.g., at least 21 years old, valid driverโ€™s license in good standing, acceptable driving risk level).
