Summary:
- Field HEOR Scientist within a field matrix team engaging Access organizations and decision-makers in the assigned territory to generate impactful data supporting medication access decision-making.
- Field-based role covering Great Lakes and Midwest territories: MN, WI, MI, IN, IL, MO, IA.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct health economics and outcomes research as part of a cross-functional matrix team (internal-facing) and lead the medical interface with key access customers (field-facing).
- Collaborate on development and implementation of the US HEOR strategy, plans, and research.
- Partner with home office medical teams to develop, interpret, and disseminate data/information assessing medical value of BMS assets; execute all phases of the research process.
- Direct research strategy to answer key healthcare marketplace questions using direct payer insights in accordance with company policies, in collaboration with the home office medical matrix team.
- Lead Health Economics and Outcomes Research for any given therapeutic area.
- Focus field-facing activities on specific accounts (regional managed care and key integrated delivery networks) to support patient access, medical policy, coverage, and reimbursement for BMS portfolio assets.
- Develop sustainable customer relationships; discuss scientific, health economic, epidemiology, and quality of life information.
- Work closely with Account Executives, MSLs, and home office medical matrix teams.
- Lead projects/initiatives with leadership that impact broader field HEOR, home office HEOR, or cross-functional matrix teams.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral trained professional (PhD, PharmD, MD) in health services research, health economics research, public health, health services, or related field.
- OR Master’s degree considered if specific to health economics/outcomes research with appropriate clinical background and experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, managed care, or consulting with primary focus on Market Access (public/private payers) and experience conducting HEOR research across all research phases.
- Demonstrated expertise in HEOR (include publication list).
- Ability to understand, interpret, and make recommendations regarding the evolving US healthcare marketplace and comparative effectiveness research.
- Proven customer relationship-building ability.
- Strong problem-solving and communications skills.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; meet Qualified Driver requirements (21+ years of age, valid driver’s license in good standing, and acceptable driving risk level).

Compensation:
- Field (United States): $211,880 - $256,748.
- Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available (based on eligibility).
