Summary
Director, Enterprise Employer Access – Cell Therapy is responsible for early, upstream engagement with employer benefit decision networks to influence benefit design for CAR-T and future cell/gene therapies before carve-outs, COE mandates, or restrictive site-of-care requirements are finalized.

Responsibilities
- Lead upstream engagement with employer decision networks (large self-insured employers, national/regional benefits consultants, TPAs, specialty benefit managers/cell carve-out vendors, employer-facing clinical/navigation/care management partners).
- Build and manage a prioritized portfolio of employer decision networks; account for mediated/episodic access and influence via trusted advisors.
- Establish educational relationships focused on benefit design philosophy, total cost/episode-of-care economics, and workforce productivity/disability avoidance/long-term enterprise value.
- Engage ahead of annual benefit cycles to inform cell therapy drug carve-out strategies, COE and site-of-care frameworks, and utilization management approaches.
- Position the organization as a credible, non-promotional thought partner; coordinate with payer/market access and provider/community oncology partners; support employer-provider discussions.
- Capture/synthesize employer intelligence to inform market access strategy, contracting/value frameworks, and policy/advocacy priorities.
- Track leading indicators (avoided/modified carve-outs, improved site-of-care alignment, earlier employer engagement) and assess impact with leadership.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred); 10+ years in Market Access, Employer Benefits, Payer Strategy, or related roles; deep understanding of self-insured employer benefit design, specialty drug economics/medical benefit dynamics, and payer vs employer decision authority; proven ability to engage senior non-clinical stakeholders (HR/Finance/Benefits); experience with complex high-cost therapies preferred.
- Preferred: Experience with employer consultants/TPAs and episode-of-care/total cost of care frameworks; strong executive presence; comfort in high-visibility “white-space” roles.
