Director, Omnichannel Marketing, Rare Disease (San Diego, CA or Princeton, NJ; hybrid—3 days/week on average)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Translate brand strategy into comprehensive multi-channel omnichannel tactical plans.
- Lead end-to-end HCP “next best action” omnichannel planning using market/performance data; optimize personal and non-personal promotional tactics.
- Drive alignment and deliver high-impact digital programs for caregivers and HCPs across social, web, mobile, online advertising, SEO, apps, loyalty; integrate with offline touchpoints.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage digital marketing tools (CMS, email, lead gen, marketing automation, web/social publishing, social listening, monitoring and measurement).
- Monitor/analyze/report cross-channel performance; provide actionable optimization insights.
- Create digital measurement plans for consumer & HCP performance; manage social listening tools.
- Build digital/AI subject matter expertise and standards; partner with Insights/Analytics/Operations to measure impact.
- Bridge Commercial and IT partners; collaborate with Corporate Communications on digital/PR activities.
- Manage agency partners and coordinate with brand/functional AOR(s).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing/IS/CS/Business or related); MBA/MS plus.
- ~10 years progressive marketing experience; 3 years in pharma/biotech.
Must Possess (Required Skills):
- 10+ years digital marketing/media planning/execution and/or marketing automation; 3+ years pharma/biotech.
- Regulatory knowledge (including MLR approval) and data governance (CCPA/CPRA/GDPR).
- Tools/tech: Marketo/ActiveCampaign/Marketing Cloud; Google Analytics; HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytics and communication; experience with patient/consumer/physician engagement; travel up to 30%.
