Role responsibilities:
- Lead CX Research capability: build/mentor a team of researchers and foster curiosity, rigor, and evidence-based advocacy.
- Hands-on research and experimentation: design, execute, and analyze qualitative studies (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, concept testing) and quantitative/statistical analysis using behavioral/telemetry data.
- Analyze telemetry/behavioral usage (product usage, clickstream, in-app interactions) with qualitative evidence to understand colleague behavior.
- Operationalize AI-enabled research methods and continuous feedback loops (automated workflows, persona-based insight extraction, synthetic data as appropriate), maintaining rigor, quality, and ethical standards.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging AI research tools; define metrics tracking AI adoption and impact on productivity and insight quality.
- Define and own enterprise measurement strategy for AI/solution adoption; establish metrics leadership uses to assess impact.
- Partner to prioritize/resourcing investment areas across colleague experience; collaborate with analytics to improve understanding and anticipate needs.
- Drive innovation toward what colleagues need to accomplish; apply end-to-end CX methodologies.
- Partner with Experience Management to define/communicate colleague experience metrics and monitor leading/lagging indicators; translate emerging trends into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:
Basic:
- Bachelor’s in research/human-centered field (UX, HCI, psychology, human factors, anthropology, applied behavioral research).
- 8+ years UX/behavioral research.
- 2+ years leading/managing researchers.
- Experience designing/executing qualitative and quantitative research.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree; 10+ years research in life sciences/healthcare/regulated industry; 5+ years leadership.
- Expertise in usability testing, contextual inquiry, concept testing; applied statistics (experimental design, power analysis, significance testing).
- Experience with AI-driven research tools; AI-enabled continuous discovery/automated workflows/synthetic personas.
- Telemetry/behavioral data analysis (clickstream, in-app analytics, logs) and behavioral analytics proficiency.
- Hands-on practitioner using Python/R and testing/survey/statistical tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS).

Leadership:
- Influence/collaborate, develop/coach others, oversee work for business impact while remaining hands-on in research execution.

Non-standard requirements:
- Minimal travel.

Compensation & benefits (if applicable):
- Base salary $176,600–$294,300 (Tampa: $158,800–$264,600); bonus target 20% plus long-term incentive; 401(k) match; paid time off; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision.
