Role responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the CX Research capability; build/mentor a team and foster curiosity, rigor, and evidence-based advocacy.
- Hands-on design, execute, and analyze qualitative research (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, concept testing) and experiments; apply quantitative/statistical analysis to behavioral/telemetry data.
- Analyze telemetry and behavioral usage (e.g., product usage, clickstream, in-app interactions) with qualitative evidence to understand colleague behavior.
- Operationalize AI-enabled research methods and continuous feedback loops (automated research workflows, persona-based insight extraction, synthetic data as appropriate) while maintaining ethical standards.
- Evaluate/pilot AI research tools; design tests and define metrics for AI adoption and impact on productivity and insight quality.
- Define and own enterprise measurement strategy for AI/solution adoption.
- Partner on cross-functional planning to identify/prioritize/resourcing CX investment areas; collaborate with data/analytics colleagues.
- Monitor trends in behavior, workplace technology, and AI adoption; translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:
Basic: Bachelor’s in a research/human-centered field; 8+ years UX/behavioral research; 2+ years leading/managing researchers; experience with qualitative and quantitative research.
Preferred: Advanced degree; 10+ years (regulated industry/life sciences/healthcare); 5+ years leadership; deep UX methods + applied statistics (design, power analysis, significance testing); AI-driven research tools; continuous discovery/automated workflows/synthetic personas; telemetry/behavioral analytics; Python/R and survey/statistical tools (e.g., Qualtrics/SPSS).

Leadership: Influence, coach others, and remain hands-on in research/experimentation.

Requirements: Minimal travel.
Comp/Benefits (if applicable): Base $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20%; eligible for long-term incentive; 401(k) with match; retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/prescription/dental/vision coverage.
