Summary
The Director, Customer Insights & Engagement is a strategic leader driving advanced analytics and market research insights to optimize engagement and performance across the US Thoracic business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute primary/secondary market research plans to generate actionable insights and identify brand opportunities.
- Synthesize data from APLD, IQVIA, SHS, claims, patient chart data, and BrandImpact to inform marketing strategies.
- Present clear, concise insights on market dynamics, competition, and brand performance.
- Partner with AI Forecasting and Centers of Excellence to unify insights generation.
- Collaborate with Brand Leads to answer business questions and support strategic decisions and senior presentations.
- Identify and lead innovative approaches in insight generation; advocate adoption of advanced analytics (AI, machine learning).
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes through innovation and capability building.
- Serve as a thought leader; represent Customer Insights & Engagement in BU-level forums to shape long-term commercial strategies.
- Lead development/adoption of standardized reporting frameworks and predictive models.
- Manage and mentor the team; ensure governance and adherence to operating policies.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Required: 8+ years in pharmaceutical analytics or market research.
- Required: Bachelorβs degree; Masterβs/PhD preferred.
- Proven ability to turn complex primary/secondary/competitive intelligence into actionable senior-leadership insights.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience mentoring teams; proficiency with tools/data sources (e.g., IQVIA, SHS) and advanced analytics; comfort in ambiguity.
- Strong market research/marketing science foundation; ability to connect analytics to business/brand strategy.
