Responsibilities:
- Own and drive portfolio-wide Customer Analytics & Insights strategy for EMD customers (focus on Epilepsy and Movement Disorders), aligned with franchise objectives and business needs.
- Oversee delivery of integrated, decision-ready insights (e.g., market landscape, segmentation, performance drivers, research synthesis) for HCPs, patients, caregivers, medical/KOLs, and payers.
- Translate analytics into actionable recommendations; provide executive-ready insight narratives to inform brand strategy, portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and customer experience.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team; coach across levels.
- Drive productized analytics and self-service reporting to reduce bespoke work and speed to action.
- Manage external research/analytics vendors (scope, methodology, interpretation).
- Partner cross-functionally (Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Data, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Finance) and represent EMD customers in planning forums.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Deep Customer Analytics & Insights expertise; systems-level view of data/analytics ecosystem.
- Ability to structure ambiguous questions into rigorous analytic approaches; lead agile/scalable ways of working.
- Strong judgment and team leadership (resource planning, performance management, talent development).
- Digital-first mindset; business acumen; systems thinking; transparent, criteria-based decision-making; continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in business/healthcare/technology or related field.
- 10+ years analytics/insights/commercial data strategy in pharmaceuticals.
- 6β8 years leading people; demonstrated management of Senior Managers/Associate Directors or equivalent.
Preferred:
- MBA/graduate degree; healthcare/pharma or regulated-industry experience; rare disease/specialty brand experience.
Working Requirements:
- 20β30% travel.
