Director, Contracts & Pricing (Market Access)

Role: Director of Contracts & Pricing within Arrowhead's Market Access team, responsible for developing and executing pricing and contracting strategies across product lifecycle stages to optimize market positioning, patient access, and brand value. Responsibilities: lead pricing/contracting initiatives, create compelling business cases, monitor market dynamics, collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, and support payer negotiations; provide insights on policy and reimbursement, and ensure compliance. Requirements: Bachelor's in finance, economics, or accounting; 10+ years in biotech/pharma, including 5+ years in market access or related functions; extensive experience in pricing strategies, analytics, and contract development; deep knowledge of pharmacy benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, federal programs, and the Inflation Reduction Act; strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to work independently and travel as needed. Preferred: advanced degree (MBA/master’s), passion for RNAi therapeutics and science-driven storytelling.
