Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy and Vision
- Define and govern a scalable centralized content operating model (“Content Factory”) including intake, prioritization, localization/adaptation, and quality standards.
- Lead and develop team leads; oversee MLR Ops for end-to-end MLR review operations, governance/audit readiness, and reporting.
- Oversee Content Factory for modular content standards supporting reuse/personalization and DAM/CMS governance.
- Hold Global Capability Owners accountable for Content Infrastructure & MLR (end-to-end lifecycle, incl. digital asset management, medical content creation, AI-enabled regulatory review) and for Digital & Web Operations (integration with CRM, analytics, attribution, consent/preference).
- Establish/govern approved claims database; oversee compliant delivery aligned to brand standards.
- Own DAM/CMS governance (taxonomy, metadata, lifecycle); provide executive oversight of MLR cycle-time improvements.
- Manage budget/resource allocation; set vision/strategy; govern capability maturity; manage vendor partners.
- Foster continuous improvement and high-performance collaboration.

Cross-Functional & Regional Alignment
- Partner with Activation Leads; align stakeholders globally while balancing local needs.
- Ensure governance/decision rights with Marketing, Medical, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
- Coordinate with brand agencies of record for handoffs supporting modularization/adaptation/reuse.
- Track SLAs and performance transparency; identify training needs with Learning & Development.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Deep MLR operating model expertise (governance, audit readiness, cycle-time improvement).
- Strong enterprise DAM/CMS knowledge (taxonomy, metadata, lifecycle governance).
- Modular/reusable content framework expertise for omnichannel execution.
- Experience with Agile product development; AI/automation/agentic workflows.
- Lead/develop high-performing teams; resource planning and performance management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, digital, healthcare, technology, or related field.
- 10+ years in content operations/production, DAM, modular content, or regulated content governance in life sciences/pharma.
- 2+ years in pharmaceutical industry.
- 6–8 years leading people.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or related).
- Experience in capability operating model; partnering with enterprise/global capability teams.
- Rare disease/specialty brand experience; distributed/matrixed team leadership.

Working Requirements
- 20% to 30% travel.
