Role Summary

We are seeking a Director, Global Compensation to join our Total Rewards and HR Innovation and Analytics team to support our global operations with Global Compensation and sales incentive design expertise. This role will partner with the Global Commercial team to design, develop, administer, and communicate global compensation programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Compensation, the position will provide strategic compensation leadership and drive initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, recommend, and execute innovative data driven compensation programs by evaluating market practices, trends, regulatory requirements, analyzing costs, and ensuring competitive advantage in total rewards.
  • Provide strategic, consultative thought leadership on all compensation matters, including salary management, sales incentive design, total rewards philosophy, programs, policies, job architecture, and supporting strategic objectives.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to build relationships and provide leadership on compensation and sales incentive strategies and trends.
  • Review sales incentive compensation plans and programs, including measurement components, quotas, award programs, and contests, to ensure they are motivational, compliant, and equitable.
  • Support the enhancement and evolution of compensation programs aligned with the company’s lifecycle and educate employees across global locations.
  • Develop and present analytics and summaries for discussion and approval reviews.
  • Manage Global Compensation projects and teams from conception to implementation, including project plans, timelines, accuracy, and change management activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to support programs.

Qualifications

  • Seasoned strategic and operational compensation professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience, capable of evolving compensation and sales incentive plans, programs, policies, and processes for a hyper-growth biopharmaceutical company.
  • Ability to advise, challenge, and influence colleagues and build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record in project management, benchmarking, and designing incentive plans, including sales incentive plans.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to influence and educate senior leadership.
  • Collaborative team player able to work with partners across HR and outside HR.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
