Role: The Clinical Development Scientist (Director) provides scientific oversight and ensures data integrity and quality across clinical trials in Internal Medicine, with direct responsibility for clinical deliverables and team supervision. Responsibilities include leading study execution, protocol development, stakeholder communication, safety and data review, site selection and training, and contributing to regulatory documents and publications. The role involves managing external committees, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with GxP and ICH/GCP standards. Qualifications: PhD/PharmD with 5+ years (or MS with 7+ years, BA/BS with 8+ years) industry experience in clinical research; expertise in cardiometabolic disease preferred. High-value specifics: focus on clinical trial execution within biopharma, potentially involving biologics or small molecules, with global regulatory interactions, safety, and data management. Collaboration: works closely with study teams, stakeholders, and external committees. Work setup: hybrid role requiring ~2.5 days onsite per week; global travel may be needed.
