Director, Clinical Development Scientist (Non-MD)

Role: The Clinical Development Scientist (Director) leads scientific oversight and manages clinical trials in Internal Medicine, focusing on study execution, data integrity, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include protocol development, internal and external stakeholder interactions, safety and risk management, site selection, investigator training, data review, and contributing to regulatory documentation and publications. The role may include supervisory duties and mentorship. Requirements: PhD, PharmD, or equivalent with 5+ years (PhD), 7+ years (MS), or 8+ years (BA/BS) of clinical research experience in biopharma, with expertise in cardiometabolic diseases preferred. Skills include strong knowledge of clinical development, GxP, ICH/GCP, regulatory processes, and experience managing clinical teams. High-value specifics involve early to late-stage clinical studies, safety monitoring, and collaboration with global development teams. The role may require global travel and is based in a hybrid work setting, with an average of 2.5 days/week onsite.
