Director, Clinical Demand & Operations Planning (CD&OP) Execution Lead
Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of Demand Alignment (DAM), Supply Review (SRM), and Clinical CD&OP forums (agenda, timing/scheduling, materials, escalation).
- Ensure decisions, actions, and risks are followed through; contribute to Executive S&OP as appropriate.
- Serve as CD&OP Execution Lead, documenting supply/demand gaps, risks, resolutions, and escalation recommendations to Executive S&OP.
- Partner with Clinical Operations and cross-functional R&D to resolve business-critical clinical supply chain issues and inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with S&OP peers to drive continuous improvement and identify digital tools to enhance CP&OP processes.
- Execute an integrated CD&OP operating cadence across Demand Alignment, Supply Review, Finance, therapeutic/CSC CD&OP, and Executive S&OP.
- Coordinate CD&OP meetings; develop reports/metrics; document gaps/resolutions; prepare agendas for Executive review.
- Support Executive S&OP with scheduling, high-quality materials, and clear communication of risks/tradeoffs/decisions.
- Improve plan quality via S&OP best practices, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics (including financial measures).
- Escalate supply risks/issues/resolutions through governance pathways.
- Validate patient enrollment forecast quality/impacts in collaboration with TA pillars; operationalize CD&OP with GDO and Finance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives; provide training/coaching; align priorities with BU heads and governance forums.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain/Engineering/Business/related technical field (required); MS/MBA preferred.
- Deep understanding of translating demand forecasts into operational/financial planning and executive decision-making.
- 10+ years leading end-to-end clinical supply chain planning (demand forecasting, supply/inventory planning, S&OP execution) in a global matrixed org.
- Leadership in global S&OP process implementation/governance.
- Strong project management/change leadership; exceptional cross-functional negotiation and executive communication.
- Proven ability to resolve conflict, make tradeoff decisions under time pressure.
- People leader with experience building high-performing teams; results-oriented stakeholder management.
