Position Overview
Reporting to the ED, CT MM/Solid Tumor Pipeline Lead, the Director, MM and Solid Tumor Pipeline provides scientific leadership and support for CAR T compounds in various stages of clinical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership of Multiple Myeloma (MM) and solid tumor assets: lead cross-functional pipeline initiatives; align with local medical affairs; develop cell therapy entry strategy into solid tumors; drive cross-asset collaboration and knowledge sharing; cultivate thought-leader relationships.
- Execute core Medical Affairs deliverables: guide publication planning; develop congress strategies; organize BMS-sponsored symposia; refine the Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP); review publications and update launch materials; lead/support global advisory boards and committees; provide medical perspective on evidence generation (ISR/CRC trials, HEOR analyses); ensure medical education excellence and data exchange.
- Provide scientific/medical expertise across the matrix: guide clinical development plans; serve as SME for cross-functional partners (MM portfolio/asset level; solid tumor early assets starting with RCC); collaborate with market access/marketing and patient advocacy.
Qualifications & Experience (Required/Preferred)
- MD/PhD/PharmD (advanced medical/biology) + 6–8 years pharma clinical and/or industry experience required.
- CAR-T therapy and MM knowledge preferred (not required).
- Familiarity with clinical/translational research; strong organization, communication, prioritization, strategic thinking, cross-functional and leadership skills.
- Estimated 15–20% US/global travel.
