Role Summary
Director, Business Intelligence at Johnson & Johnson within the Engineering & Property Services organization, located in New Brunswick, NJ, Raritan, NJ, or Titusville, NJ. Leads the development and execution of business intelligence initiatives, driving data-driven decision-making, and managing significant operational and capital spend across the global portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the organization's BI roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Define and own a comprehensive benchmarking and competitive intelligence strategy aligned to portfolio goals, asset classes, and growth targets.
- Design and maintain benchmarking models across asset classes and geographies.
- Monitor competitor activity, leasing terms, rent/occupancy trends, financing activity, and asset-level performance.
- Create executive dashboards and self-serve analytics focused on portfolio benchmarks, market signals, and competitive performance.
- Translate complex data into clear stories for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and mentor a cross-functional team of analysts and BI professionals.
- Oversee pipelines, dashboards, and analytics while ensuring data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Understand geopolitical and inflationary impacts relative to functional goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degrees in Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s in Data Science preferred.
- 10+ years in BI or Data Analytics, 5+ years in leadership roles (preferably in engineering, facilities, or property management).
- Ability to translate data into clear actionable insights for executives.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and influential with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), data warehouses, and data management platforms.
- Strong SQL and database management knowledge; big data analytics experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
