Purpose
- Ensure the Procurement organization delivers results in support of the JJIM Americas business strategy and objectives.
- Lead operational execution of commercial categories (and other categories when required) and their strategies globally.

You Will Be Responsible For
- Understand JJIM business needs and partner with categories to devise Procurement strategies.
- Identify industry trends to incorporate into category strategies to maintain balanced relevance.
- Direct and manage team members from the North America Agile Team; engage key stakeholders to understand local JJIM needs; ensure effective implementation of global category strategies; oversee sourcing and contracting services.
- Align Procurement activities with business leaders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, COEs, and Global Services.
- Lead major strategic negotiations for owned categories.
- Prioritize new product launches by category teams; coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Global Services, and Therapeutic Areas to meet launch commitments.
- Serve as Business Engagement Leader for Oncology in North America to ensure alignment with business strategies.
- Participate in the JJIM Americas Commercial Procurement Leadership Team and provide regional leadership to achieve business objectives.
- Develop performance targets and ensure target achievement.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or further advanced degree desirable).

Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years related work experience.
- Strong business insight and leadership at senior executive level; collaboration with peers.
- Ability to influence others and change behavior toward common goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for senior executives.
- Broad understanding of core procurement areas: spend management, category management, supplier management.
- Strong project management and organizational change leadership.
- Proven learning agility.

- Ability to present to large audiences; proven talent attraction and development.
- Encourage stretch goals; high credibility with internal and supplier communities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and significant change programs.
- Multi-country and multi-industry experience.
- Flexibility to respond to external environment changes.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel.
