Purpose
- Ensure the Procurement organization delivers results in support of the JJIM Americas business strategy and objectives.
- Lead operational execution of commercial categories (and other required categories) and their respective strategies globally for the JJIM business.

You Will Be Responsible For
- Understand JJIM business needs and partner with categories to devise Procurement strategies to advance those priorities.
- Identify industry trends to incorporate into category strategies for balanced relevance to the JJIM business.
- Direct and manage team members from the North America Agile Team; engage key stakeholders to understand local JJIM business needs, ensure effective implementation of global category strategies, and oversee delivery of sourcing and contracting services.
- Align Procurement activities with business leaders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, COEs, and Global Services.
- Lead major strategic negotiations for owned categories on behalf of the JJIM business.
- Prioritize new product launches with category teams and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Global Services, and Therapeutic Areas to deliver launch commitments.
- Serve as Business Engagement Leader for the Oncology therapeutic area in North America (and, as appropriate, directly with senior business leaders) to ensure alignment with business strategies.
- Participate in the JJIM Americas Commercial Procurement Leadership Team to lead regionally toward achievement of business objectives.
- Develop performance targets for the JJIM Procurement organization in areas of responsibility and ensure target achievement.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree required; MBA or further advanced degree desirable.

- Minimum 10 years related work experience.

- Strong leadership and collaboration at senior executive level and with peers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting sophisticated information to senior executives.
- Broad understanding of procurement focus areas: spend management, category management, supplier management.
- Strong project management and organizational change leadership capabilities.
- Proven learning agility; ability to improve yourself and others.

- Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year.
