Role Summary

Digital Specialty Account Manager (DSAM) to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with customers, and ensure a successful launch of Axsome’s current and future product pipeline. This role is virtual-based, focuses on digital engagement, and covers the Eastern Time Zones with EST/EDT hours.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers virtually through digital channels
  • Develop a comprehensive and effective territory business plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual goals
  • Promote Axsome products within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner per guidelines
  • Develop strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs
  • Serve as a resource/consultant to customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes
  • Maximize use of marketing resources to grow customer confidence to prescribe Axsome medications
  • Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed by management
  • Provide feedback to sales, leadership, marketing, and other internal departments
  • Complete all training classes and administrative duties accurately and timely
  • Manage efforts within the assigned promotional budget
  • Collaborate across all corporate functions
  • Ensure timely access for patients through patient services and savings programs
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 2 years of field or virtual customer experience and/or account management or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience delivering results in a quota/goal-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to master and communicate technical specifications
  • Pharmaceutical/biotech/medical marketing or sales experience preferred but not required
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines
  • Comfort with uncertainty and high expectations
  • Patient support services experience a plus
  • Strong digital marketing aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
