Main Responsibilities:
- Apply design thinking and research methods across the full product lifecycle (discovery/problem framing β ideation, prototyping, delivery).
- Drive a unified, coherent user experience across products/platforms; align direction with business and technology leaders.
- Lead end-to-end product design: synthesize research, ideate, prototype, and support implementation; ship successful products.
- Conduct and lead discovery research (contextual inquiry, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis) to identify unmet needs and inform strategy.
- Design for complexity by translating intricate scientific workflows/tool ecosystems into intuitive, unified experiences.
- Connect patterns/gaps/opportunities across the end-to-end experience landscape to drive coherent design decisions.
- Prioritize and advocate for quality; manage multiple workstreams to on-time delivery.
- Embed human-centered design and research thinking across partner organizations.
- Define and apply user-centered measurement criteria; test and iterate for measurable outcomes.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) in Design/HCI (Masterβs a plus).
- 7+ years product design experience with a track record of leading strategy and shipping.
- Portfolio demonstrating design process, research integration, and shipped products.
- Experience with iterative design sprints and lean/Agile development.
- Advanced human-centered/product design skills.
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar) and design/prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of design systems and platform guidelines (iOS, Android, LMS, connected platforms).
- Experience with wireframing, IA/sitemaps, user flows, rapid clickable prototypes.
- Web tech understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Excellent verbal/written communication and stakeholder advocacy.
- Familiarity with user research (discovery research, usability testing, synthesis).
- Pharma/health technology familiarity is a plus.
