Territory Account Specialist (TAS) β field-based/remote supporting key accounts in an assigned geography. No relocation support; no visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates/field teams/home-office to deliver access support.
- Use market and competitive insights to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data to identify local insights and lead customer engagements (virtual/in-person).
- Facilitate planning sessions across stakeholders to solve complex problems urgently.
- Provide real-time access support and collaborate with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 5+ years (last 5 years) experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales environments (medical devices/diagnostics/life sciences services/insurance/consumer health/B2B); Associate level may apply with limited sales experience.
- Track record of consistent high performance selling to large/key accounts.
- Self-starter with strong analytics and ethical/compliant leadership.
- Live within territory or within ~50 miles of the border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
- Driving is essential.
Desirable:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account strategy, new product launches.
- Patient services/market access/buy-and-bill/specialty pharmacy/reimbursement; medical calling on HCPs.
Leveling: Associate (4+ years military leadership or limited sales); Territory (2+ years complex specialty); Senior (5+); Executive (10+).
Training: complete initial training/home study (<=8 hrs/day, <=40 hrs/week).
