Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse team to deliver strategic sales objectives; establish accountability with KPI communication and supervision.
- Model expectations and accountability; encourage others to act; challenge status quo to optimize processes.
- Monitor and mentor Territory Account Specialists to orchestrate total account calls by coordinating resources to plan, communicate, and follow through on customer needs.
- Develop and cultivate a customer-centric business plan with customer engagement and cross-functional partners to improve customer experience and product demand.
- Serve on the regional leadership team to support regional goals, business execution, team development, and culture.
- Embed a customer-centric, results-oriented culture that encourages speaking up, solving problems, collaborating, experimenting, and learning from failure.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical, access and reimbursement, territory management, and omni-channel marketing tools; coach team during field contacts and 1:1 sessions.
- Use analytics platforms to identify risk/opportunity and ensure effective deployment of strategic field and omni-channel resources.
Qualifications (Essential):
- Bachelorโs degree (4-year).
- 2+ yearsโ experience as a first-line sales manager with strong strategic and enterprise mindset in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar complex sales environments).
- Demonstrated success recruiting/developing diverse talent and building high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, lead cross-functional partnerships, and execute in complex multi-regional environments.
- Experience managing field organizations through change/innovation/growth.
- Must reside within the territory (or within 100 miles of the border); travel 60โ80%; valid driverโs license.
Desirable:
- Experience leading promotion to large practices, hospitals, IDNs & SoC customers; reimbursement knowledge (out-patient and in-patient).
