Customer Engagement Business Director, Neuromuscular

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the VP, Head of Customer Engagement, providing insights and recommendations.
- Lead business planning and strategic prioritization; translate objectives into actionable plans.
- Anticipate risks, dependencies, resource needs, and opportunities to accelerate execution.
- Drive alignment across field leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Lead and evolve the Customer Engagement Rhythm of Business to strengthen governance and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare for leadership forums and business reviews with recommendations and decision support.
- Maintain an integrated view of Neuromuscular business priorities across stakeholders and enterprise partners.
- Use data/analytics, customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform decisions.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness, operations, customer engagement, and patient impact.
- Champion collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical, inclusive practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ yearsβ experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similarly structured industries) with large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, business operations, commercial excellence/consulting, or leadership support.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in matrix organizations.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills using data and customer/market insights.
- Track record building governance/planning/execution processes and delivering measurable impact.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in Neuromuscular, Rare Disease, Specialty, or similar therapeutic areas.
- Experience in consulting/business operations/commercial strategy/chief of staff/execution leadership; leading transformation/operational excellence.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Salary expected: $185,500β$344,500/year; performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity awards.
