The Corporate Paralegal will support the Legal Department in delivering high-quality legal services, contract management, and operational excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end contract lifecycle from intake through drafting, negotiation, approval, execution (including e-signature), renewal, amendment, and termination, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely completion.
- Review, draft, and redline a broad range of commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs/CDAs, MSAs, SOWs, consulting and vendor agreements), balancing business objectives with risk mitigation and escalating complex/high-risk matters.
- Oversee contract governance and compliance, including monitoring key dates and obligations, generating and analyzing reports from the contract management system, and communicating renewals/expirations.
- Drive operational excellence in contract management by administering and optimizing the CLM system, maintaining templates and clause libraries, improving processes, and resolving routine issues while escalating as needed.
- Assist with maintenance of corporate records, state registrations, business licenses, and required governmental filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to respond to contract inquiries, clarify requirements, and align on business priorities.
- Contribute to departmental process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing enhancements to strengthen legal operations.
Factors for Success / Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree plus 4β6 years of experience with an in-house legal department; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing consulting, service, and non-disclosure agreements (pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience a plus).
- Knowledge and experience applying compliance and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency with contract management software/tools; Agiloft experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay range: $97,500β$136,500 plus bonus and stock equity.
