Role: Reimbursement Liaison (Cornea) responsible for ensuring patient access to Glaukos' sight-saving technologies through expert reimbursement and provider support. Responsibilities: educate healthcare providers on benefit verification, coding, prior authorization, claims, appeals, and copay assistance; collaborate with Patient Support Specialists to address access barriers; monitor reimbursement trends and payer policies; manage communication and updates regarding policy changes; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (MBA or MPH preferred), 8+ years in specialty pharma or surgical devices, with at least 3 years in healthcare reimbursement or policy; experience with physician-administered injectables, CPT/J-codes, specialty pharmacy, and payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial). High-value: eyecare specialty, medical devices, reimbursement policies, prior authorization, copay assistance, patient access. Work setup: primarily field-based with ~50% travel; onsite or hybrid as needed.
