Operations Coordinator is responsible for the building’s material and document management, managing weekly production schedules, and coordinating day-to-day activities with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Strong knowledge of SAP, basic computer programs, and manufacturing monitoring systems required. Strong communication skills and attention to detail required. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Understand production scheduling and workflow, material control, quality, cGMP, GDP, and safety.
- Use computer systems to manage weekly schedule and perform SAP inventory transactions for materials needed for production.
- Interface with the company’s electronic system to generate, release, and close out batch records and/or other documents.
- Interface with manufacturing monitoring systems to track and trend data.
- Coordinate delivery of raw materials/commodities to meet the production schedule.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain 5S in warehouse and stockroom.
- Review and audit manufacturing-generated data/records for batch processing; correct batch record errors; ensure all components are present; confirm exceptions are referenced and approved.
- Ensure documents are retained, securely filed, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Communicate operational events/issues clearly and timely; demonstrate compliance with policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Interact with other departments and external vendors.
- Develop and implement improvements to enhance compliance and/or efficiencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong technical knowledge and manufacturing experience in chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of GDP and GMP regulations.
- Proficient with basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, email).
- Proficient use of manufacturing monitoring systems to track and trend data (e.g., PI, D3, DeltaV).
- Proficient with SAP.
- Good interpersonal relations and verbal/written communication skills.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
