Role Responsibilities:
- Identify business questions and determine optimal approaches using data, analytics, and market research.
- Partner with Hepatology/Immunology BU leadership on Commercial Insights & Analytics deliverables, including insights, market research, commercial data needs, and investment/ROI and campaign/channel analytics.
- Own insights & analytics for specific assets; advocate for insights approaches, frameworks, and advanced analytic methodologies.
- Provide strategic direction on insights plans to drive brand strategy and execution maturity.
- Embed customer experience best practices (e.g., personas, customer journeys) into insights direction.
- Lead in-depth data analytics projects via SME teams (vendor identification, analysis design/business rules, results summary and presentation).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Platforms & Operations and Digital/Tech on field reporting tools and analyses.
- Facilitate forecast assumption generation and alignment between Forecasting and Brand Management.
- Define commercial data needs for an integrated reporting platform; oversee Marketing Mix Modeling and investment ROI analyses.
- Drive innovation through pilots/experiments.
- Supervise staff (work organization/prioritization, performance reviews, training/development, coaching).
- Manage off-shore and on-shore Global Capability Center resources.
- Communicate goals, motivate employees, and propose/manage funding for Insights & Analytics deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years professional experience in life sciences/pharma-related, management consulting, or market research with pharma industry knowledge.
- 5+ years direct line and matrix leadership of teams/agencies/vendors/third parties.
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business/Math/Life Science/Social Sciences (Economics)/Engineering; MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience in hepatology and immunology indications.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Experience influencing senior commercial leadership.
- Leadership experience including employee development, coaching, hiring, and performance management.
- Strong communication/presentation; advanced collaboration and cultural sensitivity.
