Commercial Analytics Manager - Hybrid (Thousand Oaks, CA/Deerfield, IL)
Please note this is a flexible commuter role based out of Thousand Oaks, CA/Deerfield, IL with 2-3 times a week in office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design approach and perform secondary data analytics to support strategic decision-making
- Lead analytical execution by implementing solutions, managing timelines/scope, and coordinating results readouts
- Enable data-driven experimentation in the cardiovascular Business Unit (set KPIs/leading indicators, evaluate effectiveness, and guide teams with actionable insights)
- Cross-functionally synthesize findings and develop recommendations for stakeholders
- Provide senior leadership and brand teams with an objective, rigorous perspective on secondary analytics and performance management
- Develop and deliver analysis using HCP and account-level demand data, claims data, electronic medical records, specialty pharmacy data, etc.
- Manage external vendor relationships to prioritize business needs and execute analytics
- Enhance commercial data/analytics team capabilities by researching and implementing new tools, methodologies, best practices, new data sources, and AI enablement
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate OR Master’s + 2 years analytics OR Bachelor’s + 4 years analytics OR Associate’s + 8 years analytics OR High school diploma/GED + 10 years analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience integrating secondary data sources; US healthcare landscape knowledge is a plus
- Strong data/analytics/research/dashboarding & reporting experience
- Ability to define business issues and address them through data/analytics/research
- Analysis + project management to turn unstructured issues into actionable plans
- Ability to drive implementation of improved methodologies/standard processes
- Strong oral/written presentation and visual storytelling
