Role: 6-month student co-op supporting the Health Literacy & Plain Language Center of Excellence at Biogen, focusing on improving patient-facing materials for clinical research. Responsibilities include evaluating visual communication opportunities in informed consent forms (ICFs), developing patient-friendly graphics and templates, benchmarking against external resources, supporting the creation of a visual library, and assisting with process improvements in information management and reporting. Requirements: Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in fields such as Health Communications, Public Health, or Graphic Design; strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams; interest in health literacy and patient engagement. Preferred: Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), ICF authoring or oversight. High-Value: Focus on health literacy, informed consent, patient engagement; experience with ICF development is advantageous. Collaboration involves stakeholder presentations and cross-functional communication. Location: Remote with eligibility to work in the U.S. and currently enrolled in an accredited program.
