POSITION OVERVIEW
- Compliantly meet and strive to exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives by executing territory-specific sales strategies to drive utilization in the defined geography.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve territory sales goals/targets quarterly and/or annually.
- Use resources (call activity, speaker programs, payer access tools, etc.) against best opportunities; track impact and adjust; engage HCPs and staff via face-to-face, virtual, or phone.
- Analyze market/local dynamics and act on trends impacting the business.
- Develop and execute territory business plans and call plans aligned with territory and national objectives.
- Maintain awareness of local/national payer access environment and identify opportunities for pull-through.
- Demonstrate knowledge of disease state, treatment approaches, competition, and product; serve as a valued resource.
- Partner with internal/external stakeholders to remove access barriers.
- Participate in industry meetings/conventions/exhibits to build relationships and brand awareness.
- Leverage a selling model to build a call continuum and gain commitment/action.
- Take ownership by identifying challenges and resolving problems with customer and organizational impact in mind.
- Use measurement and business tools/data to build plans and drive performance; keep customer perspective central; adhere to compliance standards/policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 2β4 years pharmaceutical/life sciences sales required; specialty sales strongly preferred (neuroscience/psychiatry; ADHD/pediatric psychiatry).
- Strong account-based selling skills.
- Working knowledge of strategies to pull through local formulary wins.
- Prior authorization process knowledge; experience with manufacturer sponsored market access support programs preferred.
- Valid driverβs license and insurable.
Pay Range: $115,000 USD - $150,000 USD
