Territory: Field-based position with openings available nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to educate HCP customers and staff; include prioritized target engagements, account management (as applicable), business assessment/analysis, and resource utilization/impact.
- Educate cardiologists, rheumatologists, and other targeted decision-makers to initiate Kiniksa’s approved product for recurrent pericarditis.
- Provide comprehensive education on Kiniksa OneConnect Patient Services and support program.
- Facilitate short- and long-term opportunities via virtual/in-person one-on-ones, small group discussions, peer-to-peer programs, and external stakeholder presentations.
- Exceed annual and quarterly sales performance goals and deliver on tactical resource execution.
- Coordinate with territory partner on HCP targets and customer engagement plan to maximize reach/impact.
- Ensure cross-functional efficiencies with field sales partner teams.
- Serve as an external representative for HCP stakeholders and be a reliable, trusted resource for company/product information.
- Act compliantly with integrity and follow applicable internal/external guidelines and policies.
- Maintain expenses within assigned budget parameters.
- Document field activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years biopharmaceutical sales experience (rare disease/specialty therapeutics and/or cardiology preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience promoting injectables/reconstituted injectables preferred.
- Track record of sales success; highly motivated to achieve results.
- Strategic account management experience.
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB services, and Patient Support programs.
- Working knowledge of compliant/ethical business practices; strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Willing to travel 75–80% (primarily in assigned territory) and hold a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
- Sales incentive plan; base pay range: $180,000–$200,000 USD.
