Territory: ND, SD, most of Minnesota and NW corner of Iowa
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan (account management, business planning/analysis, resource allocation) aligned with commercial objectives
- Achieve commercial goals for launch
- Act compliantly with integrity aligned to company values
- Educate institutional decision makers (cardiologists, rheumatologists) on rilonacept features, advantages, and benefits
- Serve as primary external representative for key HCP stakeholders; provide reliable information on appropriate use and dosing
- Drive cross-functional synergy with medical and payer field teams
- Identify and build advocacy with recurrent pericarditis thought leaders
- Maintain updated customer/account profiles (formularies, pathways, payer policies)
- Provide overview of Patient Services and support program
- Facilitate collaborative opportunities (virtual/in-person, 1:1, small groups, peer-to-peer, presentations)
- Maintain technical/clinical expertise (market landscape, competitors, segments/dynamics, disease state) and cardiology trends
- Promote positive brand image; attend scientific meetings
- Educate nurses on rilonacept administration
- Comply with applicable laws, guidelines, and policies; manage expenses within budget; document activities accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree + 5+ years biopharmaceutical sales experience; specialty therapeutic experience (cardiology a plus)
- Must have experience selling/demonstrating reconstitution and injection process
- Track record of success; strategic account management experience
- Working knowledge of compliant/ethical business practices
- Strong collaboration with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams; develop/execute territory strategy with new drug launches preferred
- Up to 75% travel; valid driverβs license
Compensation:
- Base pay plus Sales Incentive plan; salary range: $180,000β$200,000 USD
