Territory: Field-based position with openings available nationwide.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to educate HCP customers and staff (prioritized engagements, account management where applicable, business assessment/analysis, resource utilization/impact).
- Educate cardiologists, rheumatologists, and other decisionmakers to initiate Kiniksa’s approved product for patients with recurrent pericarditis.
- Provide comprehensive education on Kiniksa OneConnect Patient Services and support program.
- Facilitate short-term and future opportunities via virtual/in-person one-on-ones, small group discussions, peer-to-peer programs, and stakeholder presentations.
- Exceed annual and quarterly sales performance goals; deliver on tactical resource execution.
- Partner with territory sales team to coordinate HCP targets and a customer engagement plan.
- Ensure cross-functional efficiencies and collaborate with field sales partner teams.
- Serve as an external representative for HCP stakeholders as a trusted resource for company/product information.
- Maintain compliance with integrity, values, and applicable internal/external guidelines and policies.
- Maintain expenses within assigned budget parameters; document field activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of biopharmaceutical sales experience; rare disease, specialty therapeutics, and/or cardiology experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience promoting injectables or reconstituted injectable products preferred.
- Track record of sales success; highly motivated to achieve results.
- Demonstrated strategic account management experience.
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB services, and Patient Support programs.
- Working knowledge of compliant and ethical business practices.
- Ability to collaborate consistently with internal/external stakeholders; manage multiple workstreams.
- Travel 75–80% and hold a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
- Base pay range: $180,000–$200,000 USD; includes a Sales Incentive plan.
