Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with commercial objectives (prioritized territory/account management, business planning/analysis, and resource allocation).
- Achieve launch commercial goals.
- Act with integrity and in a compliant manner aligned with company values.
- Educate targeted institutional decision makers, cardiologists, and rheumatologists on rilonacept features, advantages, and benefits.
- Serve as the primary external representative for key HCP stakeholders (including reliable product information, appropriate use, and dosing).
- Drive cross-functional efficiencies with medical and payer field teams.
- Identify and build advocacy with recurrent pericarditis thought leaders.
- Maintain updated customer/account profiles (formularies, pathways, and payer policies).
- Provide an overview of patient services and support program.
- Facilitate collaborative opportunities via virtual/in-person interactions, one-on-one, small groups, peer-to-peer programs, and presentations.
- Build and maintain technical/clinical expertise (market landscape, competitors, segments/dynamics, disease state) for deep scientific discourse.
- Maintain knowledge of cardiology patient/provider trends.
- Promote a positive brand image.
- Attend appropriate scientific meetings.
- Educate nurses on rilonacept administration.
- Comply with applicable laws, guidelines, and policies.
- Maintain expenses within budget parameters; document field activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree; 5+ years of biopharmaceutical sales experience (specialty experience; cardiology experience preferred).
- Must have experience selling/demonstrating reconstitution and injection process.
- Track record of success.
- Strategic account management experience.
- Strong knowledge of evolving patient/provider landscape.
- Working knowledge of compliant and ethical business practices.
- Ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
- Drive, passion, and focus; ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Experience developing/executing territory strategy with new drug launches preferred.
- Travel up to 75% (primarily within territory) and valid driverโs license.
