Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with commercial objectives (prioritized accounts, business planning/analysis, resource allocation)
- Achieve launch commercial goals
- Educate targeted institutional decision makers, cardiologists, and rheumatologists on rilonacept (features, advantages, benefits)
- Serve as primary external representative for key HCP stakeholders (product information, appropriate use and dosing)
- Drive cross-functional efficiencies with medical and payer field teams
- Identify and build advocacy with recurrent pericarditis Thought Leaders
- Maintain updated customer/account profiles (formularies, pathways, payer policies)
- Provide overview of patient services and support program
- Facilitate collaborative opportunities (virtual/in-person; 1:1, small groups, peer-to-peer, presentations)
- Build technical/clinical expertise for deep scientific discourse (market landscape, competitors, segments, disease state)
- Maintain knowledge of cardiology patient/healthcare trends
- Attend appropriate scientific meetings
- Educate nurses on rilonacept administration
- Comply with applicable laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Maintain expenses within budget; document field activities accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree; 5+ years biopharmaceutical sales experience (specialty therapeutic experience; cardiology preferred)
- Experience selling/demonstrating reconstitution and injection process (required)
- Track record of success; strategic account management experience
- Working knowledge of compliant/ethical business practices
- Ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders; manage multiple workstreams
- Experience developing/executing territory strategy with new drug launches preferred
- Travel up to 75% and hold a valid driverโs license
