Specific Responsibilities And Skills For Position
- Provide oversight of IIR & CO portfolio for one or more therapeutic areas; may serve as Global Therapeutic Area Liaison (TAL).
- Understand Medical Affairs and Clin Ops structures; liaise with stakeholders.
- Represent Medical Affairs Research Operations at governance meetings.
- Critically evaluate proposals/protocols for logistical, regulatory, and safety implications; identify risks and mitigations.
- Maintain overview of ongoing/planned studies; ensure resourcing; act as escalation point for study managers.
- Advise on financial variance rationale; liaise with Finance.
- Lead/stakeholder collaboration on process updates and standardization.
- Support Study Managers for IIR/CO studies (FMV/feasibility, protocol review, drug forecasting/supply, contract milestones, tracking/publication follow-up).
- Escalation/resolution and resource planning support.
- Partner with external investigators/collaborators and internal functions to ensure high-quality study management.
- Identify best practices across therapeutic areas and sites; stay current on CO/IIR standards.
- Lead strategic initiatives; provide training; manage staff and mentor junior staff.
- May contribute to non-interventional studies; occasional travel.
- Strong communication/leadership/influence; analytical problem-solving; independent work.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s + 6 years OR Masterโ€™s + 4 years OR PhD/PharmD.

Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years; RN (2โ€“3 yr cert) or BS/BA OR 6+ years + Masterโ€™s+.
- Experience reviewing/overseeing Investigator Sponsored & Collaborative Research.
- Phase IV and non-interventional study experience; prior global/large affiliate medical affairs; supervisory/leadership.

Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated)
- Salary range: $182,070โ€“$235,620. May be eligible for discretionary bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and benefits (medical/dental/vision/life).
