Main Responsibilities
HCP Site Education (40%)
- Educate healthcare providers prior to treating patients using approved resources.
- Educate staff on disease, product, procurement, administration, and support services post-RX.
- Develop and maintain account plans; use CRM to manage territory and record activities.
- Conduct educational programming with HCP staff using approved resources.
Patient Assistance (20%)
- Ensure patients are well educated and do not face unnecessary barriers to therapy.
- Communicate treatment barriers to prescriber/office staff.
- Collaborate to reduce cycle time for prescribed patient starts.
- Support patient access, enrollment, and adherence via cross-functional teams and case managers.
Patient Education (40%)
- Educate ITP/aTTP/multiple myeloma patients on disease and product using approved resources.
- Conduct branded and unbranded patient education programs (live/virtual).
- Support appropriate ongoing adherence.
- Identify opportunities to support patient communities, including representing the company at local patient events.
- Maintain accurate, timely CRM documentation of patient engagement.
Skills/Competencies
- Strong organization; adaptable in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent presentation; empathetic active listening.
- Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit products.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred (English required).
- Success working cross-functionally; technical skills to navigate complex platforms.
Qualifications
- BA/BS required; nursing or clinical background required; advanced degree plus.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- 3+ years field educator experience (sales/clinical educator/hospital/home health).
- Rare disease, hematology/oncology, and/or apheresis experience preferred; product launch experience preferred.
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
Requirements of the Job
- Travel up to 60% within territory; occasional evenings/weekends; valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record; complete fleet safety training.
