Position Summary:
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) calls on prescribers for Filspari, a first-in-class new treatment for rare kidney disease. The CAM positions the company as a leader in Nephrology and maximizes sales within their territory, providing support for diagnosis and patient management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all business-related activities in assigned geographic territory, including achieving sales goals, business planning, and expense control.
- Call on Health Care Professionals (HCPs) specializing in Nephrology in targeted institutions and offices.
- Engage providers treating rare kidney disease; educate on the benefits of Travere therapies.
- Compliantly support patient access steps (e.g., proper testing procedures, site of care determination, reimbursement process education).
- Provide educational support to an underserved patient community.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in related discipline; life sciences or clinical background preferred (equivalent education/experience may be considered).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products.

Additional Skills/Experience (Preferred/Required as stated):
- Track record of sales success with quantifiable/documented accomplishments and awards.
- Experience in rare disease or highly specialized products (preferred).
- Prior experience calling on academic institutions (preferred).
- Previous start-up experience (desirable).
- Nephrology experience (preferred).
- Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution.
- Ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify and address business opportunities.
- Proficiency with Sales Force Automation and basic business software.
- Strong organization, multitasking, prioritization, and collaboration; excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Reliable personal vehicle meeting company requirements.
- Background check including Motor Vehicle Record required.
- Travel up to 30% domestically overnight required.
- Field-based role; live in territory or immediate adjacency.
- Ability to perform face-to-face work and meet credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities and customer sites.

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $162,000.00 - $211,000.00.
