Territory: Field-based; candidates must live in the territory (Portland, Beaverton, Salem, Eugene, Bend, Medford and surrounding areas). Reports to the Senior District Manager.
Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities:
- Serve as strategic leader for territory; combine clinical expertise, account planning, and execution to improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific/clinical expertise.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism; complete required training and adhere to company policies/OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications / Required:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics (preference: Oncology/Hematology).
- Demonstrated disciplined execution, accountability, ownership; strategic business acumen.
- Learning agility, clear communication of complex concepts, resilience, intellectual curiosity.
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Competitive selling skills; collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational/analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Driving: personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license; pass drug screening; safe driving requirements.
- Business travel regularly required.
Preferred:
- Oncology/Specialty/other pharma; Bachelorโs degree; account management; Specialty Pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience; people management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree.
