About The Role
- Clinical Account Executive (CAE) reporting to the Commercial–Rare Disease Team at ANI. Drive physician and patient identification, market development, and disease/brand awareness for Cortrophin Gel in the assigned territory (including Columbus, OH and surrounding area).
- Maintain knowledge of targeted disease states and product labeling; achieve territory sales targets and business objectives through account/customer-specific strategies.
- Conduct disease-state education, coordinate stakeholders/departments (including reimbursement and medical support), and perform cold calling on targeted specialties.

Responsibilities
- Drive demand via clinical selling and education to referring and treating HCPs on Cortrophin Gel.
- Build/execute territory strategy and account plans to grow physician/patient identification and brand awareness (Rheumatology, Nephrology, Neurology); continuously assess opportunities.
- Prioritize/manage resources to develop highest-potential accounts.
- Create individual account plans and optimize outreach through pre-call planning and post-call analysis.
- Collaborate with Cortrophin brand team and internal stakeholders (MSLs, Market Access, patient HUB) to ensure patient access/logistics.
- Partner externally with key accounts/physicians to develop markets and retain customers.
- Demonstrate integrity and compliance; other duties as assigned.

Skills / Competencies (Required/Preferred)
- Account management; organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Product launch experience (plus), including payer knowledge.
- Experience with in-house patient support services (required); legal/regulatory pharma requirements familiarity.
- Territory-level business planning experience.
- Patient services and specialty channel distribution knowledge (preferred).

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree in business or science preferred.
- 5+ years rare disease or specialty pharmaceutical sales success.
- Rheumatology, Nephrology, Neurology experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for events (in-person/virtual).
- Ability to manage a multi-state territory (as applicable).
- Driver’s license required; overnight travel 40–60% (as needed).

Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary: $160,000–$200,000; eligible for short-term and long-term incentives.
